Max Rabinovich, Attorney at Law

For Max Rabinovich, practicing criminal law is an opportunity to help clients during the most difficult times of their lives.  Max believes that clients deserve an aggressive advocate who understands and cares about their needs and concerns. Max understands the legal system and is passionate about working with clients to achieve the best results.

Max earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, with a major in Psychology and a business certification from the McCombs School of Business. After graduation, he attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law where he served as the Treasurer of the Student Bar Association and the Senior Articles Editor of the SMU Science and Technology Law Review, all while graduating with honors. Max also gained invaluable trial experience through his participation in both on and off campus mock trial competitions and eventually serving as an executive member of the prestiguous Board of Advocates.

Max gained extensive criminal law experience through several internships focusing on criminal law. His first internship was with the Collin County District Attorney's Office where he was exposed to the criminal justice system. He then clerked for the Honorable Judge Gracie Lewis of the Criminal District Court No. 3, and later for the Honorable Judge Jeff Rosenfield of the County Criminal Court of Appeals No. 2, both in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, Max gained beneficial federal criminal law experience through a semester-long externship with the Honorable Judge Renee Harris Toliver of the Northern District of Texas.

Understanding that criminal law often crosses paths, both in the court room and in his future clients' lives, with other areas of the law, including family, custody, and CPS related issues, Max expanded his legal experience as a student attorney in the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic during his third year of law school, where he acted as an Attorney Ad Litem and successfully argued a serious case before the bench.

Upon graduating from law school, Max and his wife relocated to the Houston area to be closer to family. Max went to work for a well-respected firm with a focus on family law. While Max gained important skills he still uses to this day to counsel and guide his clients from that experience, he knew his true passion was criminal law, and he left to pursue that goal.

Max opened his law practice focusing on criminal law and hasn't looked back. He is committed to providing an excellent experience for all of his clients. He will advocate vigorously for your rights and interests and work diligently to achieve the best possible outcome for you and your family. The Rabinovich Law firm offers a free consultation to determine if Max is the right attorney for you and your case.
